Welcome to Stress SelfCare.

Let me remind you of the key points of this website.

Stress SelfCare provides you with a programme to work through that will equip you to control the stresses in your life.

It is FREE, though it will cost you in time and effort as controlling stress never comes easily.

You do not register.  It is as ANONYMOUS as I can make it but to obtain most benefit there are activities to do that require you to reveal your email address in order to receive feedback. You will learn more when you come to those pages.  No other contact details are recorded.

There are four modules:

Getting Started
I presume you are visiting this website because you are stressed so this is where you should start.

Here you will find:

  • Immediate help in starting to get a handle on your stresses
  • Ideas to give you some breathing space.

Be prepared to visit a few times before moving on.

Moving Forward
Once you have worked through Getting Started, probably a few times, and have a measure of control over your stresses it will be time to move forward –  more relaxed but purposefully.

Learning how to control stresses is stressful in itself, so this section is most useful when you are not stressed, well at least, not too stressed.

Here you will find:

  • More help in exploring your stresses
  • A variety of techniques to help you take control of them.

There are no quick fix answers. This is for the long haul.

Delving Deeper
This is for when you are an ‘Advanced Learner.’   You are ready to explore your life situation in greater depth including issues that make you such a unique person.

Here you will find:

  • Help in exploring safely hidden stresses.
  • Some issues that will challenge you to the core.

This section will not mean much until the earlier sections have been covered.

Uniquely You
This contains some stand-alone topics that relate only to those who are affected by them.

Here you will find:

  • Topics such as Insomnia and Grief that may be needed early on. You may even want to start here.

Check the list to see if any topic suits your needs.

You may wish to start by dipping-and-diving into the sections that catch your eye and seem to be relevant to your needs to get a feel for how this website works.
